New Home Construction

Building a new home provides the opportunity to create a residence designed around your lifestyle, property, and personal preferences from the ground up.

At 2 Story Properties, Inc., we provide residential new home construction with an emphasis on planning, craftsmanship, communication, and hands-on project management.

New construction requires careful coordination between homeowners, architects, engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, inspectors, and numerous specialized trades. We oversee the construction process and bring these individual components together into one organized project.

Construction may include site preparation, foundations, concrete and masonry, structural framing, roofing, impact windows and doors, exterior finishes, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, insulation, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, countertops, tile, interior trim, painting, fixtures, appliances, pavers, and other interior and exterior improvements.

We also focus on the details that influence how homeowners experience the finished home, including kitchen and bathroom layouts, cabinetry, storage, lighting placement, ceiling details, flooring transitions, doors, fixtures, and finishes.

A valuable part of our new home construction service is our in-house kitchen cabinet and bathroom vanity design capability. Using licensed ProKitchen and 2020 Design software, we can work directly with our clients to develop and revise cabinetry layouts throughout the planning process. This makes it easier to adjust storage, appliance locations, islands, vanities, cabinet configurations, and other details to fit the homeowner’s needs while maintaining a practical and functional design.

Because the cabinetry design is coordinated in-house with the construction of the home, we can also consider framing dimensions, plumbing locations, electrical requirements, appliance specifications, clearances, and other field conditions before installation. This added level of coordination can help create a smoother transition between the design and construction phases.

South Florida construction also requires careful attention to hurricane protection, drainage, exterior materials, impact-rated openings, and other climate-related considerations.

From the foundation through final finishes, our goal is to build a well-constructed, functional, and thoughtfully detailed home while providing homeowners with clear communication throughout the construction process.
